Espen Engebretsen is a seasoned professional in the field of naval architecture and marine engineering, currently serving as VP Global Performance and Digitalization at Odfjell Oceanwind since January 2021. Prior to this role, Espen held a similar position at Oceanwind for a brief period in early 2021. From August 2012 to January 2021, Espen worked at Inocean, advancing through roles including Discipline Lead Dynamic Analysis and Senior Naval Architect, focusing on dynamic analysis for floating offshore wind turbines and global performance analysis of offshore structures. Academic credentials include a Master's degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, complemented by international experience at UC Santa Barbara. Prior internships and military service further enriched Espen's expertise in marine engineering.
