Abhijit Mohanty

Abhijit Mohanty is a consultant specializing in knowledge building at WASSANIndia, focusing on sustainable natural resource management for marginalized communities in rainfed areas. With extensive experience in partnership and skill development as a NUNV officer at UNDP in India, Abhijit led initiatives in youth volunteer engagement and resilience building during the COVID-19 pandemic. Previous roles include Director of Development and Philanthropy at ERuDeF, and program officer with ASK and Pragya, where the emphasis was on community-based projects and capacity building in biodiversity, sustainable livelihoods, and women's empowerment. Abhijit holds an MBA in Rural Management from Amity University and a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology from Utkal University.
