Scott Corley has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Scott began their career as an intern at Aeroquip in 1988. In 1990, they joined Goodyear as a Product Engineer, where they developed aircraft tires and pioneered the use of Thermo vision IR technology for tire performance monitoring. In 1995, they moved to Century Products as an Engineer before joining The Little Tikes Company in 1996. At Little Tikes, they progressed from a cost improvement engineer to Director of Marketing, responsible for outdoor products. In 2002, they transitioned to RC2 as a Managing Director before joining Sassy, Inc. in 2005 as Director of Product Development. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering - Advanced Products, Test & Validation, Code Compliance at ODL, a family-owned company producing building products.
Scott Corley has a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan, which they obtained between the years 1985 and 1989. Scott later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing at the Kent State University - Graduate School of Management. This degree was earned from 1993 to 1998.
In addition to their formal education, Scott has also obtained several certifications. These include "Programming the Internet of Things with iOS" from LinkedIn, obtained in June 2020, "Developing Your Emotional Intelligence" from LinkedIn, obtained in May 2019, "Improving Your Conflict Competence" from LinkedIn, obtained in March 2019, and "How to Use LinkedIn Learning" from LinkedIn, obtained in February 2019.
