David Duggan

David Duggan has been working in the finance industry since 2008. David began their career as an Audit Executive at Grant Thornton UK LLP, followed by a role as Financial Reporting Manager at JT International from 2012-2015. From 2015-2017, they worked as Commercial and Financial Reporting Manager at Forrest. In 2017, they became the FD at Volcanic, where they were heavily involved in commercial strategy and appraisal, steered the business through aggressive growth, sourced and secured various funding options, implemented SaaS specific metrics to support growth, planning, and value maximisation, built the finance team from scratch, and implemented appropriate financial controls and policies. From 2019-2020, they were CFO at CurrentBody, and is currently CFO at Odro and a Consultant at Shopblocks.

David Duggan attended The University of Manchester from 2002 to 2006, graduating with a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Aerospace Engineering. David then attended ICAEW from 2008 to 2011 and obtained a Chartered Accountant certification.
