Aditya Saini, Ph.D. has been working in the aerospace industry since 2011. Aditya began their career as a Summer Intern for Hindustan Aeronautics Limited in 2011, where they assisted the Design group in developing part drawings and developed a model of a converging-diverging nozzle. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University, where they developed a novel Leading-Edge Flow Sensing algorithm, simulated and analyzed CFD data, and developed a digital PID controller using LabVIEW. In 2018, they joined The DEI Group as a Reliability Engineer, where they developed and analyzed algorithms for anomaly detection and predictive risk modeling of equipment, and developed Bayesian belief networks using sensor data and physics-based calculations. Currently, they are an Aerospace Engineer at Odys Aviation since 2021.

Aditya Saini, Ph.D. began their educational journey in 2008 when they obtained a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar. Aditya then attended North Carolina State University, where they obtained a Master's degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering in 2014, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in the same field in 2017.
