Frederick H. Banfell (Skip)

Frederick H. "Skip" Banfell has extensive maritime experience, currently serving as Master at Odyssea Marine since June 2019. Prior roles include Bridge Officer at GulfMark Offshore and Vessel Master at Hornbeck Offshore Services, where responsibilities involved operating Anchor Handling Towing-Supply (AHTS) vessels in deepwater locations throughout the Gulf of Mexico. Frederick has also held various positions such as Port Captain and Operations Manager at Seacor Worldwide and West Africa Offshore, managing vessel operations and technical assistance. Earlier in the career, Frederick held roles as Tug Master at Moran Towing Corp. and McAllister Bros., with a focus on coastwise towing operations. Education was completed at Pensacola Catholic High School, earning a diploma.
