Jordan Showalter has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2017, Jordan worked at Syncom Space Services, where they held various positions such as Operations and Maintenance Task Order Manager, Operations and Maintenance Supervisor, and Energy Management Control Systems Engineer. During this time, they were responsible for overseeing operations, maintenance, emergency response, and energy management at a NASA space flight facility. In 2020, Jordan joined NASA as an Operations Section Chief, where they oversaw disaster response activities and personnel at the NASA Michoud Assembly Facility. In 2021, they transitioned to the United States Air Force as an FMS Program Manager, overseeing foreign military sale programs. Jordan also held positions at EDG as a Project Management Consultant and Senior PM and at Trendweld Co. LLC as the President, where they focused on leadership, strategic transformation, and financial performance. In 2023, Jordan joined FEMA as a Facilities Unit Leader, responsible for setting up and maintaining facilities during national emergencies. They are currently serving as a Principal Program Manager at Odyssey Systems, leading the vision and strategy for diverse FMS programs. Additionally, Jordan is a Member of the Board of Governors for the Propeller Club of the U.S. Port of New Orleans, providing strategic oversight and governance.
Jordan Showalter has a Master of Science degree in Operations and Project Management from Southern New Hampshire University, which was obtained from 2018 to 2021. They also hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Southeastern Louisiana University, earned from 2013 to 2017. Their education history also includes a College/University Preparatory degree from Holy Cross School, which they completed from 2005 to 2013. In terms of additional certifications, Jordan has obtained various certifications such as Contracting Officer's Representative Level II from the Federal Acquisition Institute (FAI), A0602 Principles of Middle Management from FEMA, ICS-400 and ICS-300 certifications from the New Orleans Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness, among others.
