Senior Scientist, Computational Biology at Odyssey Therapeutics

Hanbin Lu is a Senior Scientist in Computational Biology at Odyssey Therapeutics, specializing in data mining related to functional genomics for autoimmune diseases and oncology since September 2022. Prior to this role, Hanbin Lu served as a Graduate Researcher in the Murre Lab at UC San Diego from September 2015 to September 2022, focusing on genomic projects that explored 3D genome regulation, early embryogenesis, immunodeficiency, and cancer. This work included the development of novel NGS methods and analysis pipelines, as well as the integration of single-cell RNA sequencing datasets to resolve mixed-lineage cell states. Hanbin Lu holds a PhD in Biology/Biological Sciences from UC San Diego, completed in August 2022, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from Sun Yat-sen University, obtained in July 2013.
