Marta Wlodarska, PhD has extensive work experience in the field of biology, with a focus on immunology and microbiome research. Marta is currently serving as the Director of Biology at Odyssey Therapeutics. Prior to this, they worked at Merck as an Associate Principal Scientist and Senior Scientist in the Discovery Oncology department. Marta also held positions at Seres Therapeutics as a Scientist in the Immunology department and at Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research as a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Microbiome field. Additionally, they have conducted research as a Postdoctoral Scholar at The Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, studying the role of the microbiome in inflammatory bowel disease. Marta has also worked as a Researcher at The British Columbia Centre for Disease Control and as a PhD Scientist at The University of British Columbia. Marta has also gained experience as a Visiting Postgraduate Fellow at Yale University and as a Laboratory Technician at The University of British Columbia.
Marta Wlodarska, PhD, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology and Immunology from The University of British Columbia in 2007. Marta then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Microbiology and Immunology at the same institution from 2009 to 2014.
