Robert Aversa has a diverse work experience spanning over different companies and roles. Robert started their career as a Medicinal Chemistry Intern at Amgen in 2005. Robert then worked as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Cornell University from 2004 to 2006. Following this, they joined Scripps Research as a PhD Graduate Researcher from 2006 to 2011. In 2011, they joined Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research (NIBR) as a Principal Scientist I in Global Discovery Chemistry. Robert was promoted to Principal Scientist I/II in 2014 and then to Principal Scientist II in 2017, holding various roles within the company. In 2020, they joined Kymera Therapeutics as an Associate Director in Medicinal Chemistry, where they worked until March 2022. Currently, Robert is serving as the Senior Director of Chemistry at Odyssey Therapeutics, starting from March 2022.
Robert Aversa earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Cornell University from 2002 to 2006. Robert then pursued a PhD in Organic Chemistry at Scripps Research from 2006 to 2011.
