Simon Carroll

Simon Carroll is a seasoned expert in nuclear decommissioning, currently serving as Senior Adviser for Strategy and Safety at Fleet Development and Business Unit Nuclear Decommissioning at Vattenfall since May 2018. Carroll also holds roles as an Associated Scientist at NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences and a Board Member of the Nuclear Liabilities Financing Assurance Board under the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, focusing on decommissioning financing programs. Other significant contributions include active membership in various international committees and working groups under the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency and International Atomic Energy Agency.
