Claire Jolly

Head, Ocean Economy & Space Economy (ipso Unit), Directorate For Science, Technology And Innovation at OECD

Claire Jolly has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Claire started their career as a Business/Policy Analyst for French and international organizations from 1994 to 1999. Claire then became a Policy Analyst at HE Space Operations in Holland, working with the European Space Agency (ESA/ESTEC) from 1999 to 2001. In 2001, they co-founded Futuraspace LLC and served as the Manager/Co-founder until 2005. Claire subsequently joined OECD - OCDE as an STI Policy Analyst in 2003 and held that position until 2013. Claire then became the Head of the OECD Space Forum from 2013 onwards and later took on the role of Head of Ocean Economy & Space Economy (IPSO Unit) within the Directorate for Science, Technology and Innovation in 2016.

Claire Jolly's education history includes the following:

- Claire attended Singularity University where they completed the Executive Program in 2018.

- In 2010, they attended IHEDN - 63e Session Nationale (Politique de Défense) as an Auditrice, focusing on Defence and International Relations.

- Before that, in 2010, Claire studied Financial Management at Cornell University.

- In 1999, they obtained a Master's degree in Space Studies from the International Space University (ISU).

- Prior to that, in 1998, they completed a DESS in International Relations, Security Studies at UVSQ Université de Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

- In the same year, Claire also studied Aerospace Engineering at ENSTA.

- Currently, Claire is pursuing a PhD in International Relations at Durham University.
