Florian Schuetz

Florian Schuetz is an accomplished cybersecurity professional currently serving as the Director of the National Cybersecurity Center within the Federal Administration since August 2019, where key responsibilities include leading the development and implementation of the National Cyber Strategy to enhance cybersecurity across various sectors. Florian also chairs the OECD Working Party on Security in the Digital Economy and holds a special officer position in the Swiss Armed Forces' Cyber Defence Staff. Prior to these roles, Florian held leadership positions in IT risk and cybersecurity at Zalando SE and RUAG, where strategies for business development and establishing a cybersecurity foundation were implemented. Florian's academic background includes a Master of Advanced Studies in Security Policy and Crisis Management and a Master's Degree in Information Security from ETH Zurich.
