Gillian Dorner is a seasoned professional in public governance and financial services, currently serving as Deputy Director and Senior Counsellor at the OECD Public Governance Directorate since December 2020. Prior to this role, Gillian held various positions at HM Treasury, including Deputy Director of Financial Services Regulatory Strategy and Head of Banking Competition and FinTech. Experience at the OECD includes serving as an Advisor to the Secretary-General from November 2011 to December 2015. Earlier roles include serving as Deputy Head of the G20 Team at the French Treasury and leading the G20 Policy Secretariat at HM Treasury. Additionally, Gillian worked in the Cabinet Office as a Private Secretary to the Prime Minister's Advisor on International Economic Affairs and Europe and has experience advising on EU financial directives. Gillian holds a Master of Arts in Modern European Languages and EU Studies from The University of Edinburgh.
