Mike Dodd

Mike Dodd has extensive experience in both the defense sector and academia. As a Principal at the Defense Innovation Unit from November 2019 to August 2021, Dodd contributed to the acceleration of dual-use hardware technologies essential for national security and economic competitiveness, focusing on areas such as Autonomy, Communications, Power, Sensors, and Space. Dodd also served as the University Program Director for the National Security Innovation Network. Prior military experience includes serving as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps, where Dodd held various command and operational roles from September 1989 to October 2000. Dodd holds a BA in Political Science from The Catholic University of America.
