Ian Hill

Ian Hill has extensive experience in nuclear science and engineering, currently serving as the Deputy Head of the Division of Nuclear Science and Education at the OECD since February 2011, where responsibilities include acting as the Secretariat for the Nuclear Science Committee Programme Review Group and supporting uncertainty analysis activities for reactor systems. Prior to this role, Ian worked as a Reactor Physics Analyst at AECL from August 2006 to January 2011, focusing on detailed physics design for the ACR-1000 reactor and utilizing Monte Carlo codes for modeling reactor configurations and verifying deterministic calculations. Ian holds a Master of Applied Science in Engineering Physics and a Bachelor of Engineering in Engineering Physics, both obtained from McMaster University.
