Rachael Boyd is currently the Legal Counsel at the International Energy Agency, a position held since 2010. They serve as Senior Legal Counsel at the OECD, starting in 2024, and previously worked as a lawyer at firms including Clifford Chance, Dorsey & Whitney LLP, and Bird & Bird LLP. Rachael began their legal career as a Judge's Associate to Hon Justice Kiefel at the Federal Court of Australia from 2001 to 2002. They hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from The University of Queensland, as well as an LLM in Public International Law from the University of Cambridge.
