Rashad Abelson

Rashad Abelson is a Tech Sector Lead and Due Diligence Expert at the OECD Centre for Responsible Business Conduct, where they develop standards and provide policy advice on responsible business conduct with a focus on the technology sector. They previously held positions as a Legal Assistant and Law Clerk at the Law Office of Michael Hemming, and gained experience as a Legal Intern at UNDP and a Commercial and Business Affairs Intern at the U.S. Department of State. Abelson has contributed to international legal research through roles at the War Crimes Research Office and the National Coalition of Syrian Revolution and Opposition Forces, where their work supported significant legislative efforts. They earned their degree from American University, Washington College of Law from 2012 to 2015.
