Helmut Bernkopf

Helmut Bernkopf has been a member of the Board of Executive Directors of OeKB AG (Oesterreichische Kontrollbank AG) since 2016.

Mr Bernkopf was born in Vienna in 1967. He completed his degree in Business Administration at the Vienna University of Economics in 1994 and, in 2004, a General Management Programme with a focus on sales.

After various national and international management and executive positions at Bank Austria AG, Vienna, Mr Bernkopf became the Global Head of Private Banking and Member of Business Executive Committee, UniCredit Group for UniCredit S.p.A., Milan. Thereafter, he became a member of the Management Board of UniCredit Bank Austria AG in private and commercial banking.

Helmut Bernkopf is member of the supervisory boards of Lenzing AG, Acredia Versicherung AG and OeKB EH Beteiligungs- und Management AG as well as chairman of the supervisory board of Oesterreichischen Entwicklungsbank AG, OeKB CSD GmbH and ÖHT Österreichische Hotel-und Tourismusbank GmbH.
