Marco Wenger serves as the Global Research & Development Director at Oetiker Group since May 2018, leading efforts in high-end connecting solutions for the automotive and industrial sectors. Prior to this role, Marco was the Head of Research & Development and Head of Production Engineering at HUBER+SUHNER, managing teams focused on fiber optical components. Experience also includes significant positions at Delphi, where Marco led product engineering teams in China and Korea, and served as a development engineer in the UK. Academic background includes a Ph.D. in Nanotechnology from University College London, a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering from ETH Zürich, an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
