Kostas Konstantinou

Kostas Konstantinou is an accomplished Senior Spectrum Technology Analyst at Ofcom since January 2021, with prior experience as a Managing Consultant at Real Wireless from April 2008 to January 2021. In the EC Horizon 2020 framework, Kostas led a modeling team within the 5G NORMA consortium focusing on novel 5G network architectures and system-level simulations for coverage, capacity, and cost optimization. Previous roles include a Senior Technology Consultant and Technology Consultant at Real Wireless, where expertise encompassed wireless technology, inter-system interference analysis, and radio propagation and network capacity modeling. Kostas also has experience as a Technology Consultant at Ofcom, dealing with spectrum management, and as a commentator systems installer and operator for the Athens Olympic Broadcasting during the 2004 Olympic Games. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mobile Communications from the University of Surrey and certification in LTE radio planning and optimization from Informa Telecoms Academy.
