Sorin Cristescu

Sorin Cristescu is a seasoned professional in blockchain technology, currently serving as Co-Founder of the Luxembourg Chapter at OffChain Global, and as a Visiting Lecturer at both Digital Learning Hub Luxembourg and the University of Lille 1 Sciences and Technology. Sorin's expertise extends to a significant tenure at the European Commission as Senior Enterprise Architect and Blockchain Competence Centre Leader, focusing on the integration of blockchain in governmental operations. With a diverse background that includes roles in IT auditing and enterprise architecture at Banque Internationale à Luxembourg and Dexia, as well as consulting at Altran Luxembourg, Sorin has developed a strong foundation in enterprise application integration and data management. Sorin holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's in EU Law and a Master's in Computer Sciences from Université de Lorraine, along with earlier qualifications in Molecular Biology.
