Wilson Tay Kah Hoe has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Wilson started their career as a Freelancer in web development, where they gathered clients' requirements, developed and maintained websites using popular CMS platforms, and configured web hosting. Wilson then moved on to becoming self-employed as an Android Developer, publishing several utility applications on Google Play Store and garnering over 800,000 cumulative downloads.
Wilson also worked as a Founder at Licorne Solutions, where they developed a software to automate website registration and submission processes for SEO purposes, serving over 900 users worldwide. Wilson then joined CEO Consultancy Sdn Bhd as a Software Engineer, where they were involved in the development and maintenance of a WPF applet and implemented optimizations that resulted in 15-25% performance improvements.
At Experian, Wilson worked as a Senior Developer, handling monthly ETL activities and collaborating with data analysts to develop scoring models for predicting consumer buying behavior. After that, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Marvac Tech Sdn Bhd, leading blockchain initiatives such as the development of a semi-decentralized lending platform and anti-counterfeiting solutions.
Wilson also held the position of Chief Technology Officer at Consortium 21, a marketing technology company, where they developed innovative strategies and provided marketing expertise to clients. Wilson co-founded and served as the Chief Technology Officer of AttSpace Lab Sdn Bhd, leading digital transformation projects for high-profile clients across various industries, including blockchain, finance, healthcare, and education.
In 2022, Wilson co-founded OffChain Global and took on the role of Co-Founder for the Kuala Lumpur chapter, building a trusted global community for Web3 professionals through virtual and in-person events and providing resources for success in the Web3 world. Currently, they are working as the CEO and Co-Founder of Nverse Labs, where they developed Lineage Protocol, a middleware for decentralized interoperable dynamic NFTs that enables flexibility and creativity in their use.
Wilson Tay Kah Hoe started their education journey in 2007 at SEGi College Subang Jaya, where they pursued an Associate's Degree in Information Technology. Wilson completed this program in 2009. Subsequently, they enrolled at the University of Sunderland in 2009 and graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Business Computing.
To further enhance their skills and knowledge, Wilson also obtained several additional certifications. In March 2010, they became a Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist. In December 2014, they received certification in Test Driven Development from the Processworks Group. In July 2014, they obtained certification in GoF Design Patterns from the same institution. Furthermore, in September 2014, they earned two certifications as a Certified ScrumMaster, one from Scrum Alliance and the other from Scrum Alliance (CSM).
