Vince Alcivar

Vince Alcivar is a seasoned software development professional with extensive experience in various roles. Currently serving as a Sr. Software Development Engineer at OfferUp since June 2020, Vince architected RESTful microservices within the AWS ecosystem for millions of users and developed features for an in-house billing system. Prior to this, Vince founded and led ThinkSource Software LLC and FreezeRay Studios LLC, delivering custom software solutions and mobile applications. Experience also includes working as a Web Application Developer at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., where Vince contributed to website redesign projects, and a Software Engineer role for the Institute for Cross Cultural Management. Vince's career began at Ultimate Software, focusing on product customization and client collaboration. Vince holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Florida, earned between 2006 and 2011.
