Alena Kangas Auyoung

Alena Kangas Auyoung currently serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Board of Trustees at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this role, Alena managed enterprise information governance and historical archives at Kamehameha Schools from April 2020 to April 2025, also contributing as a co-lead for the enterprise information governance council. Alena's previous experience includes positions at American Savings Bank, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Accenture Federal Services, focusing on risk management, audit readiness, and financial management. Alena began their career with an internship at Under Armour, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Towson University and a Certificate of Achievement in Antiquities Trafficking and Art Crime from the University of Glasgow.
