Edward Gallant is a seasoned law enforcement professional with extensive experience in major and violent crimes, intelligence operations, and aviation security. Currently serving as a Detective in the Major Crimes Unit at the Office of the Atlantic County Prosecutor since July 2021, Edward has previously held multiple detective roles focused on violent crimes and intelligence. Prior to this, Edward was the Deputy Director of Aviation Security at the Massachusetts Port Authority, overseeing compliance with TSA regulations at Boston Logan Airport. Edward's career at the Federal Bureau of Investigation spanned nearly 25 years, with significant positions including Deputy Legal Attaché in Mexico City and Supervisory Senior Resident Agent managing organized crime and gang investigations. Edward also founded Gallant & Associates, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in telecommunications software development, before transitioning to law enforcement. Edward holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
