Janani Nirthanarajah

Janani Nirthanarajah, CPA, is an experienced audit supervisor at the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario since February 2022. Prior to this role, Janani served as a manager in assurance for PwC from October 2018 to February 2022, specializing in asset and wealth management. Previous positions include senior associate in assurance and teaching assistant at the University of Waterloo, where Janani contributed by marking assignments and exams for accounting, finance, and audit courses. Janani also held positions as an assurance associate during a co-op with PwC and as a supported learning groups leader for microeconomics at the University of Waterloo. Janani's educational background includes credentials from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada and multiple degrees from the University of Waterloo, along with an International Baccalaureate Diploma.
