Jimmy Cao

Jimmy Cao, CPA, CFE, has extensive experience in auditing and financial analysis, currently serving as an Audit Supervisor at the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario since November 2017. In this role, Jimmy is responsible for planning and executing financial audits of government agencies, developing findings and recommendations for audit reports, and contributing to the Office’s annual report. Previous positions include Senior Auditor and Auditor focused on financial statement audits for provincial agencies, as well as VIP Product Support Analyst at CaseWare International Inc., where Jimmy provided technical support and led implementation projects. Early career roles included Taxpayer Services Agent at Canada Revenue Agency and Junior Accountant at CYW LLP, where Jimmy developed strong skills in financial reporting and client communication. Jimmy holds an Honours Bachelor of Accounting from Brock University.
