Kristy May

Kristy May has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Kristy is currently working at the Office of the Auditor General of Ontario as the Director of Strategy and Research. Kristy has been with the company since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Strategic and Operations Advisor to the Auditor General, Audit Supervisor, Senior Auditor, and Audit Researcher/Auditor.

Apart from their current role, Kristy also co-founded Zikomo Bags, a social entrepreneurship project based in Malawi, where they aimed to promote female entrepreneurship and provide skills training and income generation for participants. Kristy was involved in this project from July 2010 to November 2017.

In 2014, Kristy participated in the Ontario Legislature Internship Programme (OLIP) as a Legislative Intern. Kristy also worked as a Summer Student in Science and Innovation at the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) during the same year.
