Meredith O'Harris is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in public defense and advocacy for criminal justice reform. Currently serving as Deputy Public Defender at the Colorado State Public Defender since May 2024, Meredith has previously contributed as a Judicial Committee Member for the Colorado Criminal Defense Bar and served on the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Division of the Colorado Lawyers Committee. With a strong background in indigent defense and appellate law, Meredith held the position of Senior Deputy Public Defender in the Appellate Division from 2017 to 2022 and gained valuable experience as a Judicial Law Clerk for both the Colorado Court of Appeals and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
