Leighann Brown Manning

Leighann Brown Manning has a comprehensive work experience in the field of internal auditing and performance management. Leighann started their career in 2001 as a Performance Audit Manager and Fraud Hotline Manager at the State of Illinois - Office of the Auditor General. After working there for over 13 years, they joined the Illinois Department of Veterans' Affairs in 2014 as Chief Internal Auditor for a period of two years. In 2015, Leighann moved on to the Illinois State Treasurer's office, where they currently hold the position of Chief Internal Auditor.

Leighann Brown Manning earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Blackburn College in majors including Business Management, Public Administration, Psychology, and Political Science. Leighann later obtained a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Illinois Springfield.
