Marco Hernandez

Marco Hernandez currently serves as the Outreach Coordinator for the Office of the Minnesota Attorney General, a position held since July 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Policy Director at Tending the Soil, where efforts focused on organizing communities of color and addressing social justice issues, and Director of Public Policy at COPAL MN, overseeing legislative strategies and advocacy initiatives. Additional roles include Environmental Justice Organizer, Research and Legislative Consultant, and internships with the California State Assembly and US Congress, among others. Marco Hernandez holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies from Macalester College, complementing a diverse background in advocacy, community engagement, and legislative support.
