Leo O'Reilly CB has extensive experience in public service and leadership roles, currently serving as a Member of Senate at Queen's University Belfast and as a Non-Executive Member of the Independent Monitoring Authority for Citizens’ Rights Agreements. Leo chairs the Governing Bodies Association (Northern Ireland) and holds the position of Independent Member on the Audit and Risk Committee of the Office of the Police Ombudsman for Northern Ireland. Previously, Leo has served as Permanent Secretary in various departments, including the Department for Communities and the Department of the Environment, and contributed to the Review of the Intra-UK Allocation of Domestic Farm Support. Leo's education includes a Dip in Public Finance & Leadership from Warwick Business School and a Master of Science in Public Policy Analysis from the University of Ulster, among other qualifications.
