Leona Chin is a highly experienced professional who currently serves as the 2023 Queens Borough Assembly Delegate and 2024 QGA Alumna at the Office of the Queens Borough President. Leona is also a member of the Queens Borough President's Civic Engagement Committee. With a background in cycling and coaching, Leona has held various roles in the New York State Bicycle Racing Association, High Resolution Coaching, and Healthy + Happy Racing. Additionally, Leona has been an Adjunct Instructor at Queens College for interdisciplinary courses, a Corporate Trainer, and a Vice President of Community Affairs at the Organization of Chinese Americans - Long Island.

Duties include to comment on all land-use items in their borough, advocate borough needs in the annual municipal budget process, appoint Community Boards, chair the Borough Boards, and serve as ex officio members of various boards and committees. They generally act as advocates of their boroughs at the mayoral agencies, the city council, the New York State government, public corporations and private businesses. Their regulations are compiled in title 45 of the New York City Rules.
