Rhys Johnson is an Assistant District Attorney at the Office of The Richmond County District Attorney since September 2022. Previously, Rhys served as a Legal Extern at ArtWorks™ Incubator & Legal Residency, providing legal assistance to businesses and artists on intellectual property issues. Experience as a Law Clerk at The Law Office of Todd J. Krouner, P.C. and as a Legal Intern at Safe Horizon included drafting legal memoranda and conducting intakes for various immigration cases. Rhys has also interned at Vassar College's Music Department, Maven Pictures, and held multiple editorial positions at The Miscellany News. Education includes a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law and a Doctor of Law from New York University School of Law, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Music History, Literature, and Theory from Vassar College. Rhys’s foundational education was completed at The Hun School of Princeton.
