Akhilesh Agarwal

Akhilesh Agarwal has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Akhilesh began their career as an Audit Manager at K. Khandelwal & Co., Chartered Accountants, where they handled important tasks such as finalizing statutory, tax, and VAT audits. Akhilesh then worked at Vodafone as an Assistant Manager in FP&A. After that, they joined TATA Communications Ltd. as an Assistant Manager in FP&A, where they focused on analyzing trends and preparing profitability statements. Akhilesh then moved to Aircel as a Deputy Manager, playing a crucial role in turning around the company's operations and implementing a unique partner commission structure. Akhilesh later joined airtel as the Head GL (CFR) for India, overseeing accounting and financial control. At OYO, Akhilesh held various roles, including Group FP&A Head, AVP and Head of Performance Management for India and Southeast Asia, and CFO for India/South Asia Hotels + Homes. Currently, they serve as the Head of Finance at Officebanao.

Akhilesh Agarwal has a strong education background in the field of accounting and finance. Akhilesh completed their Higher Secondary education from Don Bosco Liluah from 1989 to 2003. Then, from 2003 to 2008, they attended the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and earned a degree in CA, CS, specializing in accounts and finance. During the same period, they also studied at the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and obtained a degree in CS, focusing on law and company secretaryship. In 2006, they pursued a Master's of Commerce in finance, which they completed in 2008. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2006, they earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting and finance from St. Xavier's College.
