Previous experience includes senior project management roles at Air Combat Effectiveness Consulting Group, where Hicks led mission planning for advanced military systems, and at Brandes Associates, where responsibilities included overseeing cost, schedule, and performance for mission planning components of F/A-18 and EA-18G aircraft. Hicks's military background includes serving as a combat-ready F-16 pilot with the USAF and Air National Guard, directly participating in key operations such as Operation Noble Eagle and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Educational qualifications include advanced military training and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California.
