Walther Boon

Walther Boon is the Managing Director of MedAssist.online, actively advocating for accessible medical care since 2015. Currently holding several prominent roles, including Chair of ISMH17 and Medical Doctor positions at Offshore Energies UK and the Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Waterstaat, Walther focuses on ensuring quality medical care for seafarers and offshore workers. As a Board Advisor and Medical Doctor at ECMT, Walther contributes to training professionals for medical emergencies in remote locations. Walther also serves as a Mentor at PortXL and has extensive experience as a Medical Advisor for various organizations, including Stena Line and the Koninklijke Nederlandse Redding Maatschappij. An accomplished academic, Walther holds multiple degrees in medicine and health administration, along with specialized training in crisis management and entrepreneurship.
