Roger McArthur

Roger Mcarthur is an experienced professional with a diverse background in technology and engineering. Currently serving as Chairman of MVP Asia Pacific Inc since July 2017, Roger previously held multiple leadership roles at Universal Communications Group, including Director, Executive Director, Chief Technology Officer, and General Manager from July 2008 to December 2023. Prior experience includes positions at Downer EDI - DUCG as National Technical Manager, Downer Engineering as Business Development Engineer, and Digital Distribution Australia as Network Operations Manager. Roger's early career featured roles such as Senior Consultant at TeleResources Engineering and GSM Ops Manager at Bell Labs Lucent Technologies, complemented by a significant tenure at Ionica as Head of NP&A and as a Research Scientist at Rutherford Appleton Laboratory. Roger holds an MSc in Radio Propagation from the University of Essex and a BEng in Electrical Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
