Michael Delport

Michael Delport has been working in the engineering field since 2019. Michael began their career as a Mechanical Engineering Student at Abacus Engineering Solutions / Holt Consulting Engineers. During their time there, they worked in a team on a miniature mechanical engineering project. Michael was responsible for designing the product, performing a cost analysis of it, purchasing material for it, building and commissioning it. In 2021, they joined OffWorld as a Jnr Simulations and Mechanical Design Engineer.

Michael Delport attended the University of Pretoria/Universiteit van Pretoria from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a BEng in Mechanical Engineering (elective mechatronincs). Michael is currently in the process of obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering - Honours in Mechanical Engineering from the same university, which they expect to complete in 2022.
