Senior Expert Lawyer at Ofgem

Claire Ditchburn began their work experience in 2012 at ASOS.com, where they served as a Profit Protection Fraud Prevention officer until March 2014. Claire then joined Ofgem in 2014 as a Fraud Prevention & Audit specialist before transitioning to the role of Assistant Audit Manager in August of that year. Following this, they worked as a Paralegal for the E-Serve Legal team within Ofgem from April 2015 to August 2016, providing legal support for government environmental and social programs. Claire then became a Trainee Solicitor at Ofgem, a position they held from September 2016 to December 2018. In January 2019, they advanced to the role of Solicitor at Ofgem, eventually rising to the position of Senior Expert Lawyer in June 2023.

Claire Ditchburn's education history begins in 2002, when they attended Chesham Grammar School. Claire completed their secondary education there until 2008. Afterward, they enrolled at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History and Politics. Claire studied there from 2008 to 2011. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended Northumbria University from 2011 to 2012, where they obtained a Graduate Diploma in Law. Their academic journey continued at The University of Law from 2016 to 2018, during which they focused on the field of Law.
