Gbemi O.

Gbemi O. has extensive work experience in database administration, specifically in SQL Server. They started their career as a SQL Server DBA at Barclays Capital in 2011 and then moved on to work at The London Metal Exchange as a Production Database Administrator. At The London Metal Exchange, they were responsible for supporting the SQL Server farm, performing tasks such as capacity planning, project support, and SSRS report design and deployment.

After their time at The London Metal Exchange, Gbemi O. worked as a Production Database Administrator at Mizuho International, where they supported the SQL Server estate and ensured adherence to the change control process. They then worked at Moneycorp as a Production and Project Database Administrator and at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust as a SQL Server DBA. At Great Ormond Street Hospital, they supported internal and third-party applications, investigated and resolved performance bottlenecks, and performed BAU operations and changes.

In 2014, Gbemi O. worked as a Database Administrator at Charities Aid Foundation and then transitioned to Amlin as a SQL Server DBA, where they worked until 2018. At Amlin, they were responsible for database administration tasks. From 2018 to 2019, they worked at Lloyd's as a Database Administrator.

More recently, Gbemi O. worked at Ofgem as a SQL Server Database Administrator and at SouthWest Water (OfficeLabs) as an Application Specialist. At SouthWest Water, their role included improving existing infrastructure, designing new database server performance enhancements, and supporting in-house applications and third-party clients. They also enabled change in the infrastructural environment and performance enhancements in the SWW sphere. Their tenure at SouthWest Water lasted from 2021 to 2022.

Gbemi O. began their education at Lambeth College from 1993 to 1994, where they pursued A Levels in Law. Gbemi then continued their studies at the University of East London from 1995 to 1999, obtaining an LLB degree in Law.

In addition to their formal education, Gbemi O. has also obtained several certifications. Gbemi received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft in November 2020. In March 2010, they achieved the Microsoft® Certified IT Professional (MCITP) Database Administrator certification. Gbemi O. also obtained the MCTS: Microsoft® SQL Server™ 2005 - Implementation and Maintenance certification from Microsoft® in October 2009.
