Lauren McGonnagle

Lauren McGonnagle has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Lauren began their career as a Sales Assistant at Morrisons in 2013, where they gained valuable experience working in the bakery and deli counter. During their time there, they also served as a key worker during the pandemic.

In 2020, Lauren joined the University of Glasgow as a Demonstrator and Tutor. As a Demonstrator, they facilitated mathematical discussions and provided assistance to students in courses such as Linear Algebra and Mathematical Methods and Modelling. Lauren continued this role until 2021.

Following their time at the university, Lauren joined The Software Institute in 2021 as a Graduate Technical Consultant. Lauren worked in this role for a year, contributing their technical expertise to various projects.

Currently, Lauren is working as an Operations Analyst at Ofgem, starting in 2023.

Lauren McGonnagle completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology and Sports Science from the University of Glasgow during the period of 2012-2014. Later, they pursued their higher education at the same university and completed their Master of Science degree in Mathematics from 2016-2021. Additionally, in October 2021, they obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level certification from the International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
