Vic Tuffen BSc (Hons) CEng FIGEM FCMI MEI is an experienced engineering professional with a background in regulation and technical analysis. Currently serving as the Head of Technical Analysis & Assurance at Ofgem since November 2020, Vic has held various roles, including Acting Head of Technical Analysis & Assurance and Senior Mechanical Engineer at Tuffentech Services Ltd. as the owner since 2008. Additionally, Vic leads as the Managing Director at SMB and has a longstanding role as Chair of the Utility Network Division at the Energy & Utilities Alliance. Previous experience includes positions at George Wilson Industries, Advantica, and Transco, as well as educational credentials in Engineering Management from Lincoln University and foundational studies at North Trafford College and Heysham High School.
