Lorraine has held various managerial positions in different companies, including Olam Food Ingredients, Symrise Asia Pacific, Adisseo, IFF, Takasago, and Bush Boake Allen. Their responsibilities included managing and growing key accounts, developing long-term strategic plans, overseeing global projects, and driving marketing and communication activities in the Asia Pacific region. Lorraine Seow has a diverse education history focused primarily on marketing. In 1987, they began their studies at Singapore Polytechnic where they obtained a Diploma in Business Administration. Following this, they pursued further specialization in marketing with a Diploma in Sales and Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Singapore in 1990-1991. In the same period, they also obtained a Diploma in Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Lorraine then continued their education at RMIT University from 1997-1998, earning a Bachelor of Business degree with a focus on Business Administration and Marketing. In 2003, they completed a Professional Diploma in Asia-Pacific Marketing from the Marketing Institute of Singapore.
