Cristian Zainea

Cristian Zainea has extensive work experience in the eCommerce and sales industry. ✔ Cristian is currently serving as the eCommerce & Marketplace Partnerships Director at OFX, where they identify partners and addresses their payment needs using the OFX value proposition. ✔ Cristian collaborates with the marketing team to create marketing proposals and ensure partners have the necessary tools and motivation to promote the OFX solution.

Previously, Cristian worked as an Enterprise Sales Manager at 2Checkout (now Verifone) from 2018 to 2021, where they helped enterprise companies expand globally and establish beneficial relationships with C-level executives and managers.

Before that, Cristian held various roles at Combridge, including Sales Director, International Voice Wholesale Manager, Voice Wholesale Manager, and Senior Technical Engineer. As Sales Director, they established sales objectives, delivered sales figures, and stayed updated on market trends and competitors. As the International Voice Wholesale Manager, they grew revenue and maintained long-term relationships with large accounts.

Cristian also worked as a Dedicated Customer Specialist at Equant and as a Switching Engineer at Nobel, Ltd. Overall, their experience demonstrates their expertise in sales, partnership management, and cross-border payments.

Cristian Zainea attended the University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest from 1999 to 2004, where they obtained a degree in Mobile Communications and Satellites. Prior to that, they studied informatics at Colegiul National "Mihai Viteazul", Slobozia from 1995 to 1999. In addition to their education, they have obtained various certifications including Forcepoint Inside Sales from Forcepoint in 2018, Open Water Diver from SSI Dive Center in 2016, CCNA from Cisco in 2004, and NLP Practitioner IANLP from IANLP International Association for Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
