Kirsty McRae has a diverse and extensive background in public relations and marketing. Kirsty has held various roles in different companies throughout their career. In 2006, they founded their own public relations agency called Zebra Public Relations Ltd. Kirsty served as the Managing Director and Founder until 2010. After that, they took some time off to travel and pursue personal interests. In 2011, they worked as the Associate Director in the PR division of Cake Group, where they led the PR strategy and implementation for London's West End company. Kirsty also worked at Ketchum Public Relations as the Associate Director of the Consumer Brands Team, where they led global PR strategies for Procter & Gamble accounts. From 2012 to 2013, they worked at DEC PR as the Head of Consumer and Client Services Director, overseeing senior management functions and leading communications campaigns. In 2013, Kirsty started working as a Freelance Senior PR Consultant for their own business, Hennessy & Co. Pty. Ltd. Kirsty provided freelance PR services for various consumer and corporate brands. From 2016 onwards, they joined OFX as the Head of PR and Social Media, where they guided the global PR and social media strategy with a focus on key markets. Currently, they are working as a Freelance Public Relations and Marketing Consultant at Hennessy & Co Pty Ltd, offering support for Australian companies and brands in various marketing requirements.
Kirsty McRae received their A Levels in English, History, and Communications from Millfield School in Somerset, England, from 1994 to 1996. Kirsty further pursued their education at The University of Edinburgh from 1996 to 2000, earning a Master of Arts (MA) degree in English and History.
