Stephen Flamm

Stephen Flamm has a diverse work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on user experience (UX) design and management. Stephen founded Ogee Studio in 2014, where they built a successful practice in UX for security and networking, working with Fortune 500 companies and startups. Stephen also provided design leadership for networking and security products, invented novel solutions, and managed a large team for enterprise-class cloud-based solutions.

Prior to Ogee Studio, Stephen worked as a Senior Director of User Experience at Narus Inc in 2014, leading a team to develop a next generation user experience for an enterprise cyber security and surveillance product. Stephen also served as a Senior Manager of User Experience at Ruckus Wireless in 2013 and a Senior Manager of Product Management at Juniper Networks from 2010 to 2013. At Juniper Networks, they were responsible for designing user interfaces for enterprise network and security management products.

Stephen's earlier experiences include roles such as Principal Architect at Accept Software, where they were responsible for the architecture and technical roadmap of a hosted enterprise product innovation suite; Director of Product Management at Voxify, where they managed the product management organization and drove product strategy; and VP of Products (Consultant) at Abaca, where they consulted for an early-stage start-up in the anti-spam hardware appliance market.

Additionally, Stephen has held positions at Trimble (formerly @Road), leading teams in the design and implementation of mobile application platforms and field service delivery solutions, and at Exuber Software, where they worked closely with customers to capture market requirements and develop software solutions. Stephen also worked at Openwave as a Director of Technical Product Management, leading a team in gathering customer feedback and producing product strategy documents for a mobile services platform.

Stephen Flamm attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering. Stephen further pursued their education at UC Santa Barbara, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
