Oliver Payne

Oliver Payne is the Head of Dispute Resolution in Asia at Ogier, where their practice encompasses general commercial litigation, including shareholder and banking disputes, insolvency, and breaches of directors’ and trustees' duties. As a Solicitor-Advocate with higher rights of audience, Oliver has been recognized for expertise in commercial litigation and adeptness in complex financial issues, earning accolades from Legal 500 and IFLR1000. Previously, Oliver held various roles at Ogier, alongside positions at Credit Suisse and UBS, and began their legal career at Herbert Smith Freehills. Oliver obtained a First Class Bachelor of Laws from the University of Bristol and completed the Legal Practice Course at the Oxford Institute of Legal Practice.
