Hilde Roodzant

Hilde Roodzant is an experienced history educator currently teaching at Onderwijsgemeenschap Venlo & Omstreken since March 2019, where instruction spans both upper and lower levels of Havo/VWO. Previously, Hilde held positions as a history teacher at O.R.S. Lek en Linge and Zwijsen College, and served as a LIO history teacher engaging in educational innovations. In addition to a background in book selling at Boekhandel Dekker van de Vegt, Hilde has leadership experience from Restaurant Donatello's and has contributed as the chairperson of Youth and Sobibor, focusing on combating radicalization and commemorating freedom. A brief internship at the Dutch embassy in France involved organizing cultural events and managing social media in French. Hilde's educational background includes a Master’s in History Education from Radboud University, a Master of Arts in Cultural History from Utrecht University, and two Bachelor degrees in Philosophy and History, also from Radboud University.
